They are looking for a leader responsible for creating the application roadmap, recruiting and managing a productive team with defined roles, KPIs, and development plans, while addressing team matters, aligning with organizational goals, and effectively managing multiple stakeholders.

day to day

Regional Delivery and Operations: Oversee delivery and operations in Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines, while supporting other regions when necessary.
Roadmap and Technical Expertise: Develop the application roadmap with a focus on complex backend systems in the financial or banking domain, with visibility on frontend aspects.
Team Building: Build and manage a team of 10, including project and permanent hires, and ensure alignment with delivery goals.
Infrastructure Knowledge: Manage on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud setup, including load balancing, server requirements, and resource planning.
Technical Leadership: Focus on backend technical skills like microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker, with a strong understanding of backend technologies like Java Spring Boot.
Project and Stakeholder Management: Balance technical and managerial responsibilities (60/40), manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure smooth project delivery.
Experience and Background: Require 10–15 years of overall experience with at least 2 years in leadership roles; banking experience is a plus.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong technical communication skills to work with cross-functional and cross-country teams (SG, PH, IND, CMB), with occasional travel (twice a year).
