• Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Implement safety and environmental measures, addressing risks and approving corrective actions.
• Coordinate communication between contractors, consultants, and clients to maintain alignment.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve construction challenges and complaints.
• Review and authorise construction documents, reports, and cost-saving assessments.
• Support contractors in reducing public disruptions, securing permits, and handling delays or emergencies

about the team
As the Sr Resident Engineer handling Civil, Structural & Architectural traits, you shall be reporting to the Project Manager/ Project Director depending on the project allocated. You will be working closely with the project team, health & safety, and resident engineers of other traits as well.


skills and experience required

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Working experience with Consultancies as Resident Engineer/ Client Representative
• Good knowledge of construction methods, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
