about the job
- Review the project’s design documents, including soil reports, structural designs, and geotechnical analysis for bore piling and foundation works.
- Supervise the bore piling process, ensuring the piling rig is properly set up and operated according to design specifications. This includes overseeing the drilling process, depth, diameter, and alignment of the boreholes.
- Oversee the pouring of reinforced concrete for pile caps, raft foundations, and other related foundation elements.
- Monitor the quality of the piles being installed, ensuring they meet the required strength and durability standards. Perform pile testing (e.g., static load testing, dynamic testing) as per project specifications.
- Track and report daily progress on piling and foundation works. Address any delays or issues affecting the progress of construction.
- Maintain detailed records of all activities related to piling, foundation installation, material delivery, testing results, and site meetings. Ensure proper documentation for regulatory and quality assurance purposes.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the execution of piling and foundation work, such as unexpected ground conditions (e.g., rock, loose soil, water table issues), equipment failures, or delays in material supply.
- Attend site meetings with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to review progress and resolve any issues or concerns.

skills and experience required
- Bachelor Degree in Architecture/Engineering/Project Construction Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Construction Industry
- Experienced in handling infrastructure projects (bore piles experience is plus point)
- Ambitious and aggressive characters with extensive technical knowledge and on-site experience
- Project-oriented and able to handle projects independently
