We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst (Tax) to manage and support the Finance – Record to Report (RtR) functions, focusing primarily on taxation. This role involves ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, preparing accurate tax filings, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to drive process improvements.

1. Taxation
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare accurate tax filings.
Prepare and file corporate income tax, GST, and SST returns in line with Malaysian regulations.
Monitor tax law changes and ensure timely reporting to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM).
Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities.
Liaise with tax agents on compliance, installment payments, tax audits, and related issues.
Lead monthly tax computations and tax provision postings.
Prepare group tax packages accurately and on time.
Manage transfer pricing in compliance with IRB requirements and company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to align tax matters with business strategies.
2. Record to Report (RtR)
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Support strategic decision-making through in-depth financial performance analysis.

4. Asset Management
5. Industrial Matters
Support the manager on industrial matters related to FMM, MITI, MIDA, Customs, and other authorities.
6. Other Responsibilities
Respond to auditor queries on AP matters.
Provide support and information to vendors and stakeholders.
Actively participate in team meetings and company activities.
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
3–5 years of experience in accounting and reporting, with a focus on taxation.
Strong knowledge of taxation and general ledger (GL) accounting.
Proficiency in Oracle or SAP is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
