Randstad is partnering with a Malaysian owned company that specializes in trading & distribution of industrial hardware products like steel pipes, fittings and structure steel products for building purposes. The company is expanding their Sales team and looking for a talented Senior Sales Executive to be part of their growing team.
duties and responsibilities
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions. Responsible for quotation, proposal and closing of orders to prospects.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of solutions.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for sales meetings, demonstrations and other activies.
skill and experience
- At least 3 years of experience in sales related roles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Candidates with experience dealing with building materials will be proritized
- Candidates that have experience selling tiles, bricks, doors, roofing and fittings will be considered as well
- Direct dealings or connections with contractors, building owners and purchasers will have added advantage
- Fluency in multiple languages will receive preferential consideration
