about the job
- Lead the overall planning, design, and implementation of construction and property development activities from pre-development to post-development stages, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and time standard.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and recommend strategies for optimal project outcomes.
- Manage, monitor, and control project progress to ensure smooth execution and timely completion within approved budgets and schedules.
- Attend site meetings and maintain close collaboration with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, suppliers, and government authorities, to address project requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the development of mockups, fit-out works, and related construction activities to meet sales launch deadlines.
- Implement quality control and inspection processes throughout the project cycle, including final inspections, handovers, and defect rectification during the Defect Liability Period (DLP).
- Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain effective documentation and records related to project progress, including daily work logs, labor, machinery usage, and site conditions.
skills and experience required
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- Strong foundation in civil engineering with at least 5 years of consultancy experience.
- Over 15 years of experience in project management.
- In-depth knowledge of local authority submission processes and planning and development guidelines.
