The hiring company is an International Construction & Engineering Company who specialise in the construction of industrial projects - Warehouses, Factories, Semiconductor Manufacturing Plants, Data Centres, etc. As most of these projects are situated outside of Klang Valley, our clients are looking to hire Schedulers/ Planners who are willing to be based outstation (Southern Region).
about the job
... - Liaise closely with the project team to collect relevant data and information to keep the project schedule updated.
- To monitor the execution of work of the contractor and prepare progress reports as required by the client and project team
- To oversee all planning, scheduling, optimising of projects based on input given and the requirements.
- To conduct critical path analysis using Ms Project or Primavera P6 and identify possible pitfalls or variances.
- To review and prepare EOT claims on any event of delay and try to mitigate it.

As the construction industry is warming up again, our clients are looking to add to their team to feed the needs of their new projects. These are big companies with teams of good sizes and proper support. You will be reporting to the Planning Manager working alongside a strong project and planning team.
skills and experience required
- Able to commit to relocation based on project allocated.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years construction project planning experiences, preferably in construction of data center/ semiconductor plant/ pharmaceutical plant/ hospital projects
- Familiar with Primavera P6
