about the job
- Design, develop, test, and document applications to meet project requirements.
- Provide technical consultation to Business/System Analysts and Project Managers.
- Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and high-level architecture.
- Scope work, provide estimates, and research alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with team members on timelines, project plans, and task delegation.
- Lead development teams, ensure performance goals, and provide code reviews and guidance.
prerequisites
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of experience in Java/Jakarta EE development.
- Expertise in Java 17+, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate JPA, Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Maven, PostgreSQL, Grafana, JVisualVM, JProfiler, GIT, and Junit testing.
- Desired experience includes Java up to version 21, Eclipse Vert.x, Jetty 12, Jenkins, Jira, Jasper Report, ZK Framework, Angular 16, Xtend/Xtext, AWS/Azure cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented design, MVC & MVVM concepts, and application integration; familiarity with Jakarta EE technologies is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; flexible and capable of working in a dynamic, client-driven environment.
- Able to meet tight deadlines, work independently, and maintain regular communication with EU-based clients and colleagues.
