We are currently looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer for a leading player in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.
the role
- Conduct and maintain capacity planning based on forecasted demand and production schedules.
- Define and manage product matrices for fixtures and test boards to support capacity planning.
- Update and optimize product routings to ensure accurate capacity assessments.
- Continuously revise capacity planning models, incorporating updated yield assumptions, routings, UPH, machine quantities, and fixture availability.
- Establish and uphold time standards for various plant processes to enhance efficiency.
- Manage and refine productivity models for labor planning, including HPU assessments and headcount requirements.
- Develop a dynamic capacity planning framework that accounts for both equipment utilization and workforce availability.
- Ensure alignment between forecasted production needs and the factory’s installed capacity, identifying potential gaps or constraints.
- Validate and compare MOST UPH with actual production UPH, securing approvals from production and engineering teams.
- Oversee layout planning for production lines and office setups, facilitating process transitions, capacity expansion, and new employee integration.
- Support and implement productivity improvement and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to meet business needs.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and advancements in industrial engineering to apply best practices.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, striving to exceed customer expectations in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following guidelines for safety, ESD control, cleanroom protocols, and housekeeping.
the experience
- Bachelor’s degree inr elevant discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering roles.
- At least 3 years experience in high-volume manufacturing environments with a focus on process optimization.
