We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant / Senior Finance Executive to manage full sets of accounts, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. This role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business operations and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and finalize full financial statements, including monthly income statements and balance sheets for management review.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Manage financial consolidation and cash flow reporting.

Daily Accounting Operations

Handle daily accounting transactions, including SST/e-invoicing, invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper data entry in the accounting system.
Process payments via internet banking.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Assist with SST, e-invoicing, and tax-related analysis (personal & corporate tax).
Liaise with tax agents, auditors, bankers, and company secretaries to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Support year-end audits and tax computations.

Sales & Financial Reporting

Prepare and monitor daily cumulative sales reports.
Verify daily sales reports, bank-in slips, and other supporting documents from outlets.

Month-End Closing

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
Analyze accounts receivable/payable status and monitor outstanding balances.

Collaboration & Value Addition

Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
Ensure compliance with statutory filing and financial regulations.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven ability to manage full sets of accounts independently, including for multiple entities.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and internet banking platforms.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
