About the Role

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all accounts receivable activities.
Reconcile daily sales transactions with accounts receivable records.
Accurately record and apply all payments to the correct accounts.
Oversee receipt verification, manage customer refunds, and handle AR aging.
Collaborate with the Retail Sales and Trade Marketing teams to quickly resolve billing discrepancies and enhance invoicing processes.
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with merchants and landlords to collect outstanding payments and reduce potential bad debt.
Monitor customer deposit accounts and update customer details in SAP as necessary.
Generate monthly sales reports.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare and manage monthly sales reports for landlords.
Collect redemption information, confirm with stores, and prepare debit notes monthly.
Manage journal entries related to accounts receivable.
Issue invoices for non-trade transactions.
Handle vendor invoice and credit note bookings for AP licenses.
Organize and store physical sales receipts from stores.
Support stock-taking activities.
Ensure compliance with strict reporting guidelines and maintain disciplined work processes.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Liaise with bankers, local authorities, and internal teams, providing strong support.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in FMCG or retail.
Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
Proficiency in SAP, BI, and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and meticulously under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
