about the job
- To engage with different stakeholders (e.g., SAP functional consultants, process owners, business analyst, solution architects & others) to understand and define further the migration strategy and requirements
- To conduct data assessments & further evaluate the complexity of the migration
- To identify potential challenges in data structures
- To develop migration scripts or configure SAP migration tools etc ETL
- To implement data mapping and transformation logic, ensuring that data fields align with the target system's schema while adhering to businesses.

- To further validate the data, implement data cleansing and monitor the performance
- To provide post migration support on matters eg IDOC processing errors, missing master data in SAP ECC, or conversion issues in SAP S/4HANA
about the manager/team
The role is an individual contributor role where you will be working with other functional, technical consultant, business analyst and project manager on an end to end greenfield implementation / day to day support of SAP Data Migration in a regional (no time differences, only follow Malaysia time) setting. You will also be supported by vendors in an end to end S4 HANA implementation project.
about requirements:
- Someone who has at least 1 years of experience in either SAP migration within implementation project and/or support is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure on any relational databases ; SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure in any of SAP migration tools ; SAP Data Services (BODS) / SAP Migration Cockpit / LSMW / IDOCs is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Those with exposure in any of non-SAP migration tools ; Azure Data Migration Service / Informatica / Talend / ETL tools / custom migration scripts is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Those with exposure in any minor data manipulation scripting ; SQL / Python / Bash / PowerShell is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Those with exposure in any cloud environments ; Azure / Google Cloud / including cloud-native database services ; Azure SQL / Google Cloud SQL is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Someone within Manufacturing / Retail / Consumer Products industry experience is an added advantage but not compulsary.
