- Conducting regular customer visits and delivering preliminary technical presentations as needed.
- Organizing, participating in, and presenting at seminars and conferences.
- Gaining insight into regional business opportunities by prospecting, documenting, and sharing knowledge of country-specific and regional regulations and incentive programs.
- Building and maintaining a professional network.
- Preparing and presenting commercial proposals.
- Overseeing contract preparation, finalization, and negotiation in coordination with the Legal Department.
- Managing customer interactions and acting as the interface between clients, internal teams, and external partners (such as licensing collaborators, if applicable).
- Monitoring sales activities in the region, including reporting, forecasting, updating CRM tools, and coordinating with Sales Support for system updates.
- Collaborating with other Sales Managers in the region to ensure effective teamwork and reporting to the Commercial Director.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- Minimum 6-8 years experience in Business Development/Sales within O&G industry
- Strong understanding of refining, petrochemicals and bio-renewables market within Asia Pacific
- Frequent travelling abroad is expected for this position
