Our client is looking for an entrepreneur sales director to strategize the sales & marketing operations in a group of markets. Achieve the forecasted future growth and secure market penetration by effectively managing the business. Drive profitable growth while minimizing cost-to-distribute. Responsible for markets top line and P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and retain customer relationships to build long-term profitable partnerships
- Provide customers best in class service and support (including market operations)
- Effectively manage sales companies and the distributor network and prioritize investments and activities to maximize total impact
- Execute the agreed sales & service strategy overall and secure performance in all market, channels, brands and product segments
- Create Route to Market strategies in Travel Retail, domestic duty paid and International/regional trading.
- Provide leadership to ensure a clear understanding of performance levels and KPIs and what it takes for individuals and teams to deliver
- Manage long- and short-term P&L and Balance Sheet targets. Vital focus areas are growth, pricing, cost-to-distribute, building a Route to market organization
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or its equivalent
- 8 years of people management experience
- 10-12 years of experience in the tobacco or FMCG industry
- Regional exposure; experience in managing different markets, distributors, direct sales operations, and travel retail channels
