The SEA Compliance, Investigation, and Security Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and managing compliance and security risks. The role collaborates with various stakeholders to implement corporate policies, conduct investigations, and build a culture of compliance and safety across SEA markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Security Risk Management
- Analyze compliance risks and opportunities through the company’s compliance program to build strategies that ensure business growth while adhering to policies.
- Participate in SEA Compliance Committee meetings and collaborate with internal teams (Internal Audit, Risk Management, Internal Control) to enhance process efficiency.
- Develop and implement global security policies, guidelines, and standards tailored to SEA needs in collaboration with the Zone Security Director.
- Partner with key business units (HR, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Quality Food Safety) to protect company assets and foster a culture of security and food defense across the supply chain.
- Provide security expertise in key projects (e.g., new factory setups, logistics partnerships, and supplier onboarding) to ensure robust prevention and contingency plans.
- Conduct security verifications, investigations, and awareness programs as needed.
- Establish strong relationships with local security authorities, vendors, and consultants.
- Support business continuity planning (BCP) and crisis management.
2. Corporate Compliance & Security Policies
- Act as a subject matter expert on corporate compliance and security policies.
- Deliver training programs on compliance, security, and investigation topics.
- Monitor emerging compliance and security trends to proactively address weak signals and strengthen compliance culture within the region.
3. Internal Investigations & Ethics
- Promote the company’s Ethics Line and manage internal investigations, ensuring transparent and efficient reporting.
- Lead compliance investigations in collaboration with the SEA Compliance Officer to address non-compliance issues.
4. Audit & Risk Management
- Support internal control and audit processes by identifying vulnerabilities and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate and manage operational risks to ensure business continuity and alignment with corporate governance principles.
5. WISE Coordination
- Coordinate global safety mandates and projects within SEA, liaising with the regional safety manager/auditor.
- Cascade and implement global Workplace Safety & Environmental (WISE) initiatives, ensuring alignment across SEA market business units.
- Foster synergy in WISE practices by supporting local representatives and providing guidance.
About You
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner, ASIS, TAPA Security) are an advantage.
- 7–10 years of experience in auditing, compliance, security, or a related role, with at least 3 years in occupational safety management.
- Strong knowledge of SEA laws related to corruption, competition, data privacy, and international trade sanctions.
- Proven expertise in security operations, risk management, and investigations in SEA.
