• Oversee the development, implementation, and upkeep of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and drive ongoing process improvements.
• Manage processes to ensure products and services meet quality standards, enforcing consistent procedures across all stages of production.
• Plan and conduct internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness, leading corrective actions based on findings.
• Track supplier performance, addressing quality issues and ensuring materials meet required standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant certifications (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949) and oversee certification and recertification processes.
• Track key quality metrics and provide regular performance reports, identifying areas for improvement.
• Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Provide training on quality standards and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Resolve customer quality complaints and implement corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
