The Plant Head is responsible for driving business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures financial targets, process excellence, and organizational development are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leadership development. The position requires strong technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership capabilities to navigate the competitive landscape and sustain long-term success.
- Lead the manufacturing plant’s operations and business strategy to achieve sustainable growth.
- Deliver revenue, profitability, and cash flow targets while ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Strengthen customer and supplier relationships, enhancing market positioning and business development.
- Explore new business opportunities, expanding partnerships and industry networks.
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to drive product and process excellence.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas and improvements across departments.
- Lead strategic projects that enhance productivity and align with corporate objectives.
- Share and adopt best practices and benchmarking insights to elevate organizational capabilities.
- Develop and mentor departmental managers, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline.
- Drive a positive workplace culture, promoting collaboration and employee engagement.
- Implement succession planning and capability development for long-term business sustainability.
- Work closely with corporate functions such as Finance, HR, and IT to ensure strategic alignment with headquarters.
- Maintain strong relationships with regional leadership teams, ensuring cohesive business direction and knowledge-sharing.
the experience
- At least 10 years of experience in operations management within a fast-paced business environment, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale operations.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Possess working experiencein the manufacturing industry is a must. Candidates from precision engineering background are preferred.
