Position Summary: The Plant Finance Manager is responsible for managing all financial control and accounting activities within the plant. This includes overseeing general accounting, cost accounting, payables/receivables, and payroll. The role ensures that the plant's financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provides critical financial insights for decision-making to drive profitability and efficiency.

- Oversee and manage all financial operations at the plant level, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of plant-level financial statements in compliance with local and global financial standards.
Cost Optimization & Profitability Enhancement:
- Collaborate with plant management to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement strategies to improve profitability without compromising product quality.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of production costs, material consumption, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial performance data.
Audit Support:
- Facilitate and support both internal and external audits to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for all financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with applicable local and global regulations, including adherence to internal compliance policies.
- Manage tax filings, statutory compliance, and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with company standards.
Risk Management:
- Assess risks related to plant operations and implement strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team to achieve financial goals and objectives.
Ad-Hoc Projects:
- Participate in and manage ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management to drive improvements in financial operations and performance.
Required Experience & Competencies:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA qualifications are highly valued.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within FMCG or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP systems and financial software is required.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and manufacturing costing models.
Competencies:
- Excellent leadership qualities with superior communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and plant management.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and meticulous attention to detail, particularly with large sets of financial data.
- Ability to identify and solve problems while implementing process improvements.
