about the job
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP components in interior design projects.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring project financial objectives are met.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and contractors for MEP works.
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed BOQs for MEP works, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Update BOQs as project requirements evolve.
- Track and monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Manage claims, variations, and final accounts with contractors and stakeholders.
about the requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in MEP works, preferably within interior design projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, local building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in cost management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
