about the job
- Manage and oversee all engineering deliverables, encompassing design development, construction documentation, submittal reviews, RFIs, and commissioning.
- Conduct comprehensive design and constructability reviews to ensure designs meet operational requirements and follow construction best practices.
- Facilitate a smooth transition from design to construction by verifying the accuracy and completeness of construction documents and permit packages.
- Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
- Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams throughout project life cycles.
- Perform technical evaluations and value engineering, developing solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders to ensure alignment with design intent.
- Oversee project turnover, including the commissioning and client acceptance processes.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

As the construction industry is warming up again, our clients are looking to add to their team to feed the needs of their new projects. You will be reporting to the Project Manager working alongside a strong team of project engineers.
skills and experience required
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Proficiency in three languages is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel and relocate as needed for project requirements.
- Relevant experience in HVAC systems, cleanroom environments, and data centers is highly advantageous.
- Familiar with construction site work requirements, including producing Method of Statements (MOS), developing project schedules, and tracking site progress.
- Strong multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
