about the job

As the project lead for overall projects execution in MEP and manage the whole project cycle from requirement definition, design, tender, construction, implementation, control and user acceptance.
To implement Quality Management System in the project to deliver high quality output.
To understand the project scope and specifications to deliver the required project output.
Able to formulate Work Programme and track all activities to ensure no delay and mitigation plan to manage if there are any delays
To in charge on shop drawings preparation with the input of ‘value engineering’ and possess adequate design/technical knowledges to validate such designs.
To prepare project budgetary and continuously enhance the margin of the project whilst having the cost under control.
To supervise engineers, supervisors & subcontractors on site installation and technical information.
To promote the communication in work related matters with all stakeholders i.e interdepartmental, client, consultant, subcontractors and any other parties involved in the project.
To attend site meeting with consultants & clients to provide solutions and feedback to ensure project progress is smooth
To conduct monthly project meeting and report project status.
To monitor and review the progress claim, claim certificate, VO submission or quotation preparation.
To ensure all local statutory regulations, local authority and local practices in Malaysia are well executed.
To carry out the testing & commissioning works with all relevant parties
Manage and lead the procurement & project executives to carry out the material purchase or subcon awarding by ensuring all details are scrutinized prior to awarding.

As the construction industry is warming up again, our clients are looking to add to their team to feed the needs of their new projects. skills and experience required

Sound design, code of practices and technical knowledge in Electrical (Power) or HVAC.
Good exposure to procedures and requirement of the relevant standards i.e TNB, BOMBA, IEC, MS Standards or any other COP required for the project
Familiar with other MEPF, Archi and C&S services for coordination and effective implementation
Computer literate and ability to understand the contracts content in formulating strategies for risk management.
Good interpersonal and communication skill
Must have worked as Engineer for at least 2-3 years and completed projects in the similar field i.e Electrical or HVAC
