about the job
- Conduct market research, analyze demand, and develop a strategic leasing plan for the mall.
- Manage all leasing programs and activities, including planning, development, lease management, and budget forecasting, to maximize rental income and profitability by attracting desirable tenants (long-term, short-term, specialty tenants, kiosks, seasonal tenants, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, retailers, stakeholders, business partners, and landlords.
- Source and secure new tenants in alignment with the tenant mix strategy.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve leasing targets and occupancy goals for the mall.
- Oversee lease negotiations and execution, ensuring compliance with legal standards while protecting the landlord's interests.
- Collaborate with legal teams to draft standard tenancy agreements, including landlord and tenant provisions, house rules, and fit-out guidelines.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in leasing, particularly in a mall environment, with a proven track record of securing tenants and achieving KPIs.
- Preferred: Current Assistant Manager looking to step up into a Manager role.
- Open to applicants who are currently unemployed.
- Driven, ambitious, and proactive with a strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Excellent communication skills and strong leadership qualities.
