about the job
- Develop and implement plans to ensure the data center has adequate capacity to meet current and future demands.
- Managing daily IT infrastructure tasks such as hardware and software management, data storage, security, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, capacity planning, vendor relations, end-of-day batch processes, and reporting.
- Implementing effective IT budgeting and resource management to ensure the ITO department operates at minimal cost.
- Budget planning, forecasting, cost control, resource allocation, efficient capex and opex management, performance measurement, risk management, and vendor management.
skills and experience required
- Hands-on experience with managing data centers, servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure:
- Around 8 to 15 years or more of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong man management skills
