We are currently looking for a General Trade Manager for one of the lead MNC players in the FMCG skincare and personal care space. This position requires your urgent attention.
- Reporting to: Head of Sales
- Location: Selangor
- Team size: 5 direct reports
the role
- Manage 4 Area Sales Managers to expand market reach and drive sales within the General Trade channel across Central, North, South, and East Malaysia regions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key distributors, resellers, and retailers, providing support and resources to ensure their success and optimize channel performance.
- Analyze channel performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions based on key metrics (Net Sales, IMS, DIH, etc.) to ensure business goals are consistently met.
- Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to ensure customer satisfaction, drive product launches and promotions, and achieve strategic objectives.
the experience
- Minimum 6 years of FMCG sales experience.
- General Trade and Distributor Management experience is essential.
- Skincare/personal care industry experience is desirable.
- Achievement-oriented leader with a strong business acumen.
