Oversee Financial Management:
- Lead the financial management accounting team for Malaysia
- Manage and monitor business planning and financial activities to meet financial plans and budgets.
- Develop and communicate budget and planning assumptions to stakeholders.
Support P&L Management:
- Collaborate with the Malaysia General Manager to manage the P&L.
- Provide analysis on sales performance and operating costs.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling for decision-making to improve financial performance.
Ensure Checks and Balances:
- Implement checks to safeguard company interests.
- Engage relevant stakeholders in planning and implementation.
- Ensure transparency and access to necessary information for decision-making.
Budget and Financial Planning:
- Prepare and present budgets, financial plans, and business documents as required.
- Conduct continuous financial audits and reviews.
- Monitor performance, adherence to budgets, expenditures, and potential risks and opportunities.
Cost Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyze key cost drivers and identify cost optimization alternatives.
- Recommend solutions to prioritize company benefits.
Team Development:

requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics with any accounting professional qualifications.
- Proven at least 8-10 years of experience in FP&A roles, with a track record of financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
