Randstad is partnering with a leading data center company and they are looking for a fixed asset accoutant to join their expanding team.

about the job

• Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fixed asset tagging and sighting.
  • Coordinate and perform cycle counts and reconcile the fixed asset register.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring proper recording and tracking of all fixed assets.
  • Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals promptly and accurately.
  • Calculate and record depreciation expenses.
  • Reconcile fixed asset balances with the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reporting.
  • Assist with fixed asset audits.
  • Develop and maintain fixed asset accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist with other accounting duties as required.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with fixed asset accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel across Data Center locations.
  • Based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru. ...
