Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
2. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
- Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Manage statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance corporate governance.
3. Financial Operations & Controls
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow management to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Optimize working capital, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
- Monitor and enforce company financial policies and procedures for efficient financial management.
4. Process Improvement & System Enhancement
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and reporting structures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance cost control, operational efficiencies, and overall financial performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, compliance, and financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
