Job Summary: The Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong business and commercial acumen, extensive knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, tax and budgeting expertise, and process improvement skills. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders including management, human resources, IT, and operations to achieve company objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
... - Oversee the day-to-day finance and administration operations, driving the achievement of departmental targets and objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions in accordance with local GAAP and international financial reporting standards.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and group reporting, ensuring adherence to financial reporting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide monthly financial analysis of company performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for better business decisions.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and expense/claims reports.
- Manage year-end audits (internal or external) and tax compliance, as well as other statutory/group requirements.
- Oversee effective treasury and vendor management.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Identify and drive continuous process improvements, implementing best practices within the Finance department.
- Support and manage the compliance of Risk Management processes and ISMS.
- Support Facilities Management.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, coaching, motivating, and empowering team members.
- Handle a variety of ad hoc projects and duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline, or a professional qualification in accounting or finance (CPA, ACCA, MIA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including finance, accounting, audit, and tax.
- Strong knowledge and experience in audit activities, tax, reporting, financial planning, and business controls, including SAP accounting system.
- Significant analytical skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced level with macro knowledge) and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interact tactfully and confidently with various business units at all organizational levels independently.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong assertiveness.
- Ability to sustain high-level performance, solve problems, and work independently to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
