Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly Group consolidation reports and conduct analytical reviews for board papers.
- Compile and submit quarterly equity, share capital, and loan movements for foreign subsidiaries to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and commentaries from regional subsidiaries.
- Consolidate and monitor the Group’s cash balance and indebtedness.
- Prepare monthly Group accounts and analyze performance against budget, proposing action plans for management.
- Collaborate with finance teams across various countries and liaise with financial institutions, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards and IFRS for Group financial statements.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- At least 3 years of audit experience in an audit firm is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS updates and financial management, particularly in group consolidation.
- Independent, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Open to both full-time and contract roles.
