Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This person will play a critical role in supporting the management and financial reporting functions. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Director of Finance and CFO, ensuring financial transparency, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making for our growing operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Finance and CFO:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including the consolidation of subgroups and ensuring the integrity of financial statements.
- Prepare and present financial reporting to investors, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company goals.
Financial Analysis & Performance Insights:
- Assist in financial analysis and preparation of variance reports to track business performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Provide detailed analysis of financial trends, cost drivers, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
Audit & Compliance:
- Manage the annual audit process for companies assigned, ensuring necessary documentation and information are provided for compliance.
- Oversee tax-related matters, ensuring timely filing and adherence to local and regional tax regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and internal policies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain financial integrity and transparency across all operations.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and management of annual financial budgets and forecasts for companies assigned, ensuring alignment with the business’s strategic objectives.
- Support management in preparing financial projections and ensuring financial discipline across departments.
Banking & Treasury:
- Manage banking relationships and oversee cash flow management for assigned companies, ensuring adequate liquidity and efficient use of funds.
- Liaise with financial institutions and manage day-to-day banking operations, including credit facilities, foreign exchange, and treasury activities.
Ad-Hoc Finance Tasks:
- While the primary focus of this role is on financial reporting and compliance, the Finance Manager may also be required to take on other day-to-day finance-related responsibilities as needed to support business objectives and growth.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a complex, multi-entity environment.
- Experience in the data center, technology, infrastructure, or real estate sector is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP).
- Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Excel); familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
