We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Electrical Design Engineer (Automation) to join a growing team for a market leading Automation company!

Reporting to: Head of Department
Location: Penang
Excellent remuneration and benefits package

the role

Develops and reviews electrical designs and schematics for machinery and larger systems.
Collaborates with other engineering teams to ensure design requirements are met.
Manages assigned tasks within budget and timeline, communicates project status, and resolves issues.
Ensures compliance with national and international standards, as well as customer-specific requirements.
Generates technical documentation, including BOMs, test plans, and as-built drawings.
Provides technical guidance, training, and support to team members.

the experience

Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in electrical design within the Automation industry.
Electrical & control system design, hands-on wiring, knowledge of electrical and control components.
