- Implementing privacy governance frameworks and ensuring legal compliance in data usage.
- Developing and maintaining data protection policies and tools covering PDPA & GDPR.
- Conducting privacy impact assessments and advising on legal compliance.
- Acting as the primary contact for regulators, employees, and authorities.
- Setting global data privacy standards and ensuring local compliance.
- Delivering privacy training and promoting a compliance culture.
- Conducting privacy audits and collaborating on security incident management.
- Assisting with ISO 27001 compliance and providing advisory support.
- Performing additional duties as assigned, and may include domestic and international travel.
about the requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related IT field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Protection Compliance, or related fields.
- Experience in Governance, compliance, IT Audit, Information Security, legal, risk, or privacy compliance.
- Strong knowledge of EU data privacy regulations (GDPR, PDPA) and global privacy frameworks.
- Ability to present complex ideas in clear, user-friendly terms.
- Skilled in prioritising and managing multiple tasks.
