about the job
- Support Company Secretarial activities to ensure legal and best practice compliance.
- Stay informed on Company legislation and policy changes.
- Recommend policies to improve Board governance and compliance.
- OrganizeOrganize Board and Shareholder meetings, distributing relevant documents.
- Manage Company Secretarial tasks for corporate restructuring, acquisitions, and liquidations.
- Collaborate with Departments, especially Group Legal and Company Secretarial, to maintain standards.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to meet service delivery expectations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and relevant legislation.
- Liaise with legal advisers to ensure required standards are met.
- Supervise and support direct reports to maintain performance and foster development.
about the requirements
- Licensed (ICSA/MAICSA/SSM)
- Minimum 10 years of CoSec experience
- Experience in a public listed company is a must
- Familiar with the Companies Act, Bursa Listing Requirements, Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) regulation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and with high integrity.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and to work independently and resourcefully.
