Job Overview ...

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage daily financial operations, ensuring seamless processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will handle accounts receivable and payable, oversee compensation payouts, and support audit and tax compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency in processing financial records, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

Retrieve and validate daily commission reports to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with service providers to resolve commission-related discrepancies.
Process and record incoming payments promptly and accurately.

Accounts Payable:

Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls for payment processing.
Handle transactions via Cheques, GIRO, PayNow, or bank transfers.
Accurately post outgoing payments in a timely manner.

Reconciliation & Compliance:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations for both payments and receipts.
Assist with GST reporting and compliance.

Compensation Processing:

Manage and process compensation payouts twice a month (14th & 29th).
Import commission data into OneSynergy and ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payout discrepancies.
Support UAT for system enhancements in OneSynergy.

General Finance & Administrative Support:

Assist with tax filings and audit requirements.
Provide ad-hoc finance and administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments and process changes.
Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel functions.
Basic understanding of insurance-related financial processes.
Familiarity with MYOB and other financial systems is a plus.

Experience & Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in financial operations, payment processing, or reconciliation.
Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
