Key Responsibilities:
IPO Readiness & Corporate Governance:
- Lead and oversee all financial aspects of the IPO process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of necessary documents.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support IPO objectives while ensuring strong internal controls and corporate governance.
- Work closely with external advisors (investment banks, auditors, legal teams) to ensure smooth execution of IPO plans.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Provide leadership in all areas of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to scale operations regionally while driving profitability.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape long-term business strategy and ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Challenge the status quo and drive innovation by proactively suggesting ways to optimize financial performance, cost management, and growth opportunities.
Business Scaling & Operational Excellence:
- Analyze the company’s business performance and develop actionable insights to drive growth and profitability.
- Provide operational support to key departments, helping to scale business operations efficiently and effectively within Southeast Asia.
- Navigate complexities in the business, including financial modeling, data analysis, and resource allocation to ensure smooth scaling across markets.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports, providing the executive team with critical financial insights.
- Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations and expansion.
- Establish robust financial processes and systems that ensure transparency, efficiency, and scalability.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring the right talent and skills are in place to support the business’s growth trajectory.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department and drive strong collaboration across business units.
- Act as a mentor to other senior executives, encouraging a growth mindset and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit throughout the organization.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, both locally and regionally, ensuring the business is well-positioned for growth.
- Assess market dynamics and adjust financial strategies to navigate challenges while maximizing business opportunities.
Investor Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, providing regular updates on company performance and growth prospects.
- Build and manage the financial narrative for stakeholders, articulating the company’s long-term value proposition and performance.
