• Direct Materials Procurement: Source suppliers, manage purchase orders, monitor inventory, negotiate pricing, and track market trends for cost-saving opportunities.
• Indirect Materials Procurement: Manage office supplies, maintenance, and equipment procurement, ensuring quality and budget compliance.
• Supplier & Inventory Management: Assess supplier performance, resolve issues, negotiate contracts, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Coordinate with internal teams, prepare procurement reports, and provide updates on material availability.
• Compliance & Process: Ensure adherence to regulations, maintain procurement records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other Duties: Communicate with suppliers, participate in meetings, and perform additional tasks as required.

about the requirements

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 3+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (preferably in manufacturing/pharma).
• Strong knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Familiar with inventory management systems and materials planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
