Reporting into the Managing Director.
... - Lead and Manage Team: Oversee a team of 5 sales executives, ensuring their performance meets company standards and targets.
- Client and Wholesaler Relations: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and wholesalers, keeping them informed about new products and collaborating on product development.
- Process and Procedure Management: Establish and manage processes for distributor operations, including advertising and promotional budgets (A&P), stock management, and product visibility to achieve targets and execute promotional support.
- Sales Optimization: Enhance business terms, marketing activities, and stock control to optimize sales performance and achieve business objectives.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Analyze market intelligence reports to discover new business opportunities and manage a productive portfolio.
- Training and Support: Provide training and presentations to wholesalers and their staff to improve their understanding of company products.
- Logistics and Collections Management: Supervise logistics to ensure efficient freight arrangements and prevent delivery disruptions, while closely managing monthly collections and addressing any issues.
- Contract Preparation and Compliance: Assist in preparing contracts with suppliers and wholesalers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reporting and Planning: Prepare monthly sales reports, contribute to yearly business plans, and handle other required analyses and presentations.
- Exhibitions and Department Support: Organize and manage local and international exhibitions to promote and explore new markets, support distributors at these events, and take on the responsibilities of the Head of Department when necessary.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Mass Communication, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong communication and business development skills, with a results-driven and proactive approach, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Well-organized, disciplined, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work both as a strong team player and independently, with self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally
- Immediate availability preferred
