Key Responsibilities
- Lead new product development, managing projects from concept to launch through gate processes.
- Collaborate with marketing and R&D teams to ensure products align with brand direction.
- Leverage consumer insights and technology to translate concepts into successful products.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective decision-making and project progression.
- Manage NPD project timelines and budgets, identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, making strategic recommendations for business growth.
- Conduct market research to support NPD initiatives as needed.
- Track key activities, manage setbacks, and ensure minimal impact on project timelines and objectives.
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business qualifications.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in new product development within the FMCG industry.
- Proactive with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, ability to interpret market data and research to make informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Creative, meticulous, and resourceful with a strong sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
