We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Automation Engineer (Robotic) to join a growing team for a global leading automotive manufacturer!

Reporting to: Plant Director
Team size: 30-40 people
Location: Perak
Excellent remuneration and benefits package

the role

Develop and program robotic systems to achieve maximum productivity with minimal waste and ensure consistent, precise coverage.
Ensure automated processes deliver a uniform, high-quality finish that meets or exceeds customer and industry standards.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems to ensure minimal production downtime and operational disruptions.
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations to protect workers and the environment.
Implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance painting quality, efficiency, and throughput while reducing costs.
Collaborate with teams: Work closely with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and design teams to align robotic operations with broader manufacturing goals.

the experience

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with robotic systems, specifically in manufacturing industry.
