We are seeking an experienced and skilled Audit Manager to join our professional audit and accounting firm. As an integral member of our team, this role is essential in overseeing and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners and senior management to drive continuous improvement in audit methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance audit quality and service delivery.
- Assist in business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of effectively managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and delivering exceptional client service.
