We are currently looking for an Assistant Quality Manager for a leading player in the Automotive Parts Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 100 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.
- Reporting to: Factory Manager
the role
- Assist in Quality Management: Support the QA Manager in managing the overall quality assurance process to ensure compliance with industry standards, such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor Product Quality: Oversee day-to-day quality control activities, ensuring that products meet company standards and customer expectations. Manage inspection procedures, testing, and defect analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement, implement corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Customer & Supplier Relations: Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues, manage customer complaints, and ensure timely resolution of any concerns.
- Audits & Compliance: Assist in conducting internal audits, manage external audits, and ensure the plant complies with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to improve their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality metrics, prepare reports, and present quality data to senior management and customers.
- Training & Development: Assist in training staff on quality standards, policies, and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
the experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering or any relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Possess at least 3 years of working experience in quality assurance role in the manufacturing industry.
