about the job
- Conduct market research to assess demand and develop a strategic leasing plan for retail spaces.
- Implement a comprehensive leasing strategy to maximize revenue and returns.
- Drive occupancy growth and optimize rental income through targeted leasing and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, business partners, and tenants.
- Ensure the achievement of revenue and leasing goals, aligning client results with team KPIs and the company’s broader business strategy.
- Liaise with tenants and coordinate with internal teams, including Project, Fit-Out, Legal, Marketing, Facility Management, and Finance departments.
- Manage lease negotiations and contract execution, ensuring legal compliance. Collaborate with lawyers to draft standard tenancy agreements, including landlord and tenant provisions, house rules, and fit-out guidelines.
- Be part of developing leasing budgets, revenue forecasts, and expense controls to optimize property financial performance.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mall and/or commercial leasing, with a proven track record of securing tenants and retailers.
- Driven, ambitious, and assertive, with strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in a shopping mall environment is an advantage.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
