The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s finance operations, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in financial reporting and cash flow management. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full spectrum of company finance operations, including preparing and reviewing yearly budgets, financial projections, and management accounts.
- Overseeing cash flow management to ensure financial stability.
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of payments and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitoring backlog invoices, reducing overdue open items, and meeting KPIs for accounts receivable and payable.
- Developing action plans to achieve financial team KPIs and verifying supplier payments, staff commission claims, and trade applications.
- Establishing and implementing effective SOPs and internal control procedures to improve finance and reporting systems.
- Ensuring timely tax returns submission and compliance with Inland Revenue Board (IRB) regulations.
- Handling tax planning and compliance, statutory audits, inventory management, and debtors' aging reports.
- Collaborating with auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, and bankers to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Preparing and managing full set accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and trial balances.
- Leading, coaching, and managing the finance team to ensure effective performance and growth.
