Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounts payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring all necessary approvals and documentation are obtained.
• Perform data entry of vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Prepare payment runs (including cheques, electronic fund transfers, and international payments) and ensure timely settlements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
• Liaise with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues promptly.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain reports on accounts payable aging, outstanding payments, and other relevant metrics.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the EPCC or construction industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of GST/SST regulations and withholding tax compliance.
• Personal Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills for dealing with vendors and internal stakeholders.
