Main Purpose of the Job: The main purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely financial management and reporting for the branches. Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with external accountants at branch locations to ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly financial statements.
- Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and conducting monthly balance sheet reviews.
- Ensuring robust financial management indicators and resolving issues within agreed timescales.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of all monthly financial management reports and annual reports, and maintaining the integrity of the financial performance for the Branches Business from both management and statutory accounting perspectives, in line with Group policies and controls.
- Continuously monitoring and updating cash flow on a weekly basis, ensuring it is well managed, and alerting the Senior Finance Manager to take necessary actions to maintain a positive cash flow.
- Overseeing local tax compliance and ensuring all tax payments are made in accordance with local legislative requirements.
- Working with external auditors to ensure the timely production of the Audit Financial Statement (AFS).
- Monitoring and analyzing departmental work to develop more efficient procedures and resource utilization while maintaining high accuracy, and assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow.
- Managing the country's business planning and forecasting process, ensuring Group timetables and outputs are met.
- Performing ad-hoc tasks, jobs, or reporting as assigned by the Senior Finance Manager.
